New eBook Collections
The Library has recently purchased a number of eBook collections from a range of publishers and covering a range of subjects. You can find the individual title records in the Library Catalogue, but the following is an overview of the new collections.
Cambridge Books Online. Almost 200 titles have been added to the Library’s CBO collection. The new titles include publications on International law, Language teaching, Mathematics, Phonetics and phonology.
CSIRO. Over 300 books published between 2009-2012 from Australia’s premier science publisher. Topics include: Animals ; Built environment ; Environment ; Food : Gardening ; Land and resource management ; Marine and freshwater ; Physical sciences ; Plants ; Science in society.
Project Muse. UPCC (University Press Content Consortium) Books on Project MUSE offer peer-reviewed books from over 65 university presses and scholarly publishers. The Library has purchased over 250 titles focusing on Higher Education and Languages and Linguistics.
World Scientific. This collection of over 300 titles published during 2011 includes the following subject areas: Mathematics ; Physics/Nonlinear Science ; Chemistry/Materials Science/Nanotechnology ; Computer Science ; Engineering ; Environmental Science ; Medicine and Healthcare ; Life Sciences ; Business and Economics ; General and Popular Science ; Social Sciences and Asian Studies.
