Recent acquisitions 2015
The following databases were added to the Library’s collection in early 2015:
Business Education Complete Online – includes textbooks, book chapters, cases from well-known case providers, corporate training video, sample business documents and executive-oriented research reports.
China, America and the Pacific : Trade and Cultural Exchange – primary source materials for the study of North American trade and cultural exchange with China during the 18th and 19th centuries.
China : Culture and Society – rare pamphlets (c1750-1929) from the Charles W. Wason Collection on East Asia, at Cornell University Library.
Criminal Justice and Public Safety in Video – Documentaries and interviews provide personal field experiences as well as insight into the function and controversies of the justice system.
Global Health – bibliographic, abstracting and indexing database dedicated to public health research and practice.
Library of Latin Texts A & B – LLT is the world’s leading database for Latin texts.
LifeSCIENCEnetBASE – ebooks in botany and plant science, entomology, genetics, microbiology, and zoology as well as archaeology, anthropology, and natural history.
Open Book Publishers – monographs and textbooks in the humanities and social sciences.
Perdita Manuscripts, 1500-1700 – manuscripts written or compiled by women in the British Isles during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, and sourced from archives and libraries across the UK and the USA.
Sexual Health Visual – video presentations from speakers in the fields of sexual health research, practice, professional development and training
Travel Writing, Spectacle and World History – travel diaries and correspondence from nineteenth and twentieth century American women.
World Newsreels Online : 1929-1966 – key international newsreels from Universal Newsreels, Universal Studios, Les Actualites Francaises, Nippon News and The March of Time.
